A class combining breath-centered movement (YANG) and long-held passive poses (YIN).
Class Description
Combining two contrasting yet incredibly complementary styles of yoga, Yoganica’s YANG + YIN YOGA class offers a well-balanced yoga practice. Each class will begin with mindful and breath-centered dynamic movement, much like our Slow Flow Yoga class (the YANG element of the practice), physically working on strength and mobility. The class will then transition to long-held passive poses (the YIN element of the class) to target the release of the deep connective tissues, bring balance to the body’s organs, improve flexibility and mobility and stimulate subtle energetic flow. Each class will finish with a guided meditation. **BYO yoga mat, all other props will be provided**
